Job Description

A financial company in the Cincinnati are seeking a remote AEM Developer to join their team for a contract role. The candidate will be joining a team in order to implement this company's new website. The current website sits on AEM and this candidate will be required to build the new website and work on the existing website simultaneously. This individual will be working with the content owners to define requirements and ensure integrity and functionality on assigned web projects. They will mainly be Responsible for the creation and integrity of web content management system (CMS) Front-End code. In addition, they will oversee and approve designs, developments of creative intuitive solutions to support the business/functional area. This candidate will also need to modify and optimize graphics for the use of the website. This will include developing, making edits, and ensuring compatibility for the westie.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years in J2EE programming experience

5+ years of software development experience in AEM demonstrating depth of technical understanding within AEM Sites, Assets, and Workflows

Expertise of Adobe Experience Manager v6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service and understanding Cloud Manager.

Experience with AEM building blocks including editable templates, components, dialogs, widgets, experience fragments and content fragments.

OSGi Services/Components, Apache Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, GraphQL and AEM core components

Strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies (does not need to code)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

AEM Developer certification - Big Plus

Experience with Java Content Repository (API) and Sling web framework.

Experience with HTML, CSS and Java Script frameworks

Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git.
