One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Data Integrator. The Data Integrator will support the Process Information (PI) and associated data integration efforts (PI Vision, PI Data, and associated systems). This position will guide and support the client's efforts to collect and leverage our vast amounts of operational and non-operational data to find and implement operational and cost efficiencies. Data collection will initially center around data already available in our OT (Operational Technology) environments. The client's OT systems are used to monitor and remotely control the pipeline systems and include both SCADA and field controls systems. Leveraging the big data will be the greater challenge. To accomplish that, this position will need to champion the delivery of "analysis ready" operational data to drive new insights across the organization, educating and guiding the different departments and processes toward understanding and leveraging data to find efficiencies. Responsibilities are outlined below. Travel should be minimal and account for less than 15% of the job
* Has 4-10 years of data integration experience or ( PI Administrator / Architect )
* Develop/manage the PI database, tags, standards and management of change process.
* Define and Implement the Asset Framework strategy within PI to better enable data analytics
* Experience with PI/SEEQ
o Pi admin/integrator
o Create tags/points
* Understands systems integration and data architecture
o Systems architecture experience
o SQL/Oracle experience
* Has experience with SQL queries to pull data
* Coding background: java, python, etc.
o SEEQ preferred
* SCADA -- program that you control the pipelines, pumps, valves
* PowerBI to hand off reporting capabilities -- create powerBI reporting from PI data
* Manufacturing, processing, oil/gas
* Oil/gas experience
