Job Description
Insight Global is looking for several Maintenance Technicians for permanent, direct hire opportunities in the Cincinnati/Fairfield area. These Maintenance Technicians will join a large maintenance team and spend their time maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment for a fast-paced environment in the food industry all while receiving paid training. Repairs/maintenance on equipment can range from gearboxes, filers, bearings, valves, sprocket alignments, limit switches, air systems, ovens, motors, hydraulic components, PLC's, etc. Experience with HVAC, PLC, CAD, or hydraulics is highly preferred for this role. They will also complete basic welding duties as well as use hand tools such as grinders, saws, drills, bearing press, etc. The manager is willing to offer paid training and will cross-train employees. The company does not outsource their maintenance work, so there is plenty of opportunity to develop skills further. These candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check. Required Skills & Experience
Industrial maintenance background (strongly preferred)
Experience with HVAC, PLC, CAD, or hydraulics
Strong communication skills
Okay with OT & some weekends for projects (48 hours a week)
Stable work history (or Recent Graduate from Technical School)
Tools/Toolbox required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PLC troubleshooting experience (strongly preferred)
Food industry background
Robotics experience
Experience Modifying Code
