Remote Avionics Engineer

Job Description:

A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH is seeking an Avionics Engineer. This person will be joining a team of 6+ to help provide support and expertise to the MH139 Helicopter. They will be assisting the government by providing knowledge and guidance when it comes to the different systems within the airplane such as tactical data links, flare systems, position location, display systems, crew systems, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and digital interphone systems. Other responsibilities will include supporting system safety, risk management, deficiency report resolution and data reports to ensure that the systems within are doing what the PWS is saying they will do.

- Bachelor's in engineering or related field ( , Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Avionics etc)

- 5+ years working within the DoD

- 8+ years working within the avionics environment specifically in the defense systems area ( M240 gun, Chaff/Flare System, Tactical data links systems, display systems, digital interphone systems etc) when it comes to requirements

- Secret Clearance

- Retired military
