Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. This position is responsible for implementing cyber security solutions, standards and procedures within the laboratory including information systems, networks, data transfer media, test equipment, and educating laboratory personnel, to ensure information protection, integrity and availability in compliance with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), AFRL, Air Force, and DoD polices and standards. Responsibilities will include planning, implementing, upgrading and monitoring security measures for the protection of the networks, implement controls, evaluate security aspects, create and maintain security documentation packages for ATOs as well as develop mitigation procedures to reduce risk.
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree in related field (Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience
* 7+ years of IT related experience
* 5 years of being within the cyber space- (Nist/STIGs/DISA etc)
* Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, processes, and procedures.
* Windows and or Linux experience within the networking space
* Sec+ Certification
* Active Secret Clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* System Administration background
* CISSP, CAP,CISA etc
* Linux experience (highly preferred)
* Top Secret Clearance
