My SQL Database Architect

Insight Global is looking for fully remote MySQL DBA Architect largest financial clients. They will be responsible for the following:



*Collaborate with other IT teams and Vendors to resolve complex and multi-disciplinary issues

*Work independently and represent database group in various projects

*Mentor, assist, encourage, and serve as a backup to other team members

*Ability to deliver consistent, high quality, cost effective service by handling routine, as well as some non-routine, systems issues

* 6-8+ years of MySQL experience

*Installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, tuning, and maintaining MySQL databases (current version 8.0.30 with 5.7.31 legacy versions being migrated to 8.0.30)

*Identify, Innovate, Develop, and Deliver latest capabilities for MySQL Databases

*Troubleshoot critical performance bottlenecks for Production MySQL databases

*Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation

*Ensure that databases are monitored, maintained, backed up, and available as appropriate.

* Strong knowledge of ODBC/JDBC client/server communication

* Significant Automation experience with 'shell' and 'SQL' scripting
