An employer is seeking a Remote Sourcing/Purchasing specialist for a long term opportunity. This Sourcing Specialist will be creating, issuing, and tracking purchase orders and RFPs. The sourcing specialist will be joining a client in the Medical Device industry and be expected to work on projects in the $100 million + range. Working daily with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders can be expected as is working consistently inside the internal purchasing system, Emarketplace. Prior working knowledge in SAP or other purchasing software's will suffice, but in order to hit the ground running Emarketplace is much preferred. This role is fully remote 8-5pm EST hours and can be expected to extend up to the project duration, which is currently four year. Prior working experience in the a regulated environment is also much preferred as is the ability to work and track down different POS from various vendors.
4+ years of experience creating, writing and tracking purchase orders
4+ years of hands-on professional procurement, sourcing or purchasing experience
2+ years managing customer and supplier communication for all things related to purchase orders (up to $100 mill)
Emarketplace, Labor Marketplace or SAP experience (Emarketplace is much preferred)
Advanced Excel and Office skills
