Job Description
An employer is seeking an outside sales Account Manager in Nashville, TN for a direct hire opportunity. This resource will grow the Nashville/Northern Tennessee territories by networking to find the right contacts for the best-of-breed technology Cadre represents. Having a strong network of key customers while Networking and cold-calling are key to this position. Prospect for new business, service existing accounts in the territory, upsell into accounts which are already customers of Cadre, work with the marketing team to plan vendor-related events in the territory and to create interest in those events, follow up on leads from vendors in a timely fashion, set up appointments with C-level executives and deliver presentations created in collaboration with Cadres marketing team, maintain sales forecasts and sales plans, attend online training classes provided by Cadres partners in order to become familiar with, and certified to sell their product lines.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven success within an outside sales role (ideally 3-5 years of experience selling) in the Nashville market
Experience in the software/data security industry (knowledge of end-point, disaster recovery, data protection, anti-virus, malware)
Channel sales experience (resellers, distributors, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with a Value-added reseller (VAR)
Familiar selling to small-medium sized companies
