Job Description

A large healthcare organization is seeking a Reporting Strategist to support the development and configuration of reporting capabilities within an integrated Clinical Information System (CIS). This role will report to the Director of Technology and Integration and will play a key role in guiding the reporting workstream across a multi-phase implementation program.


The Reporting Strategist will provide leadership and subject matter expertise in healthcare reporting, with a strong focus on Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) reporting tools and capabilities. This individual will collaborate closely with vendor partners, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of reporting solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of a future-state reporting strategy and associated processes for the integrated CIS.
Leverage Oracle Health reporting tools to meet clinical and operational reporting needs across the organization.
Establish and maintain reporting governance frameworks and processes.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
Ensure alignment of reporting activities with the broader project plan, including considerations for phased go-lives, domain structures, and system updates.
Utilize project dashboards to track and communicate reporting progress and status to leadership and stakeholders.
Create documentation and artifacts to support implementation, quality assurance, and traceability.
Support change management efforts related to reporting tools and processes.
Develop a capacity-building and skills development plan to ensure long-term sustainability of reporting capabilities.
Recommend and help design the structure of the reporting team based on current and future operational needs.
Participate in the development of custom reports as required.
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge transfer.
Attend and contribute to workshops and meetings, both virtual and on-site, as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

5 to 7 years leadership experience with large scale reporting systems and services in the healthcare sector
Extensive knowledge and skills in the Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) Clinical Information System solutions
Extensive experience in effectively transitioning from legacy systems to a region-wide, integrated Oracle Health (Cerner) reporting solution
Extensive knowledge in the Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) reporting solutions (e.g. CCL, Discern, Model Reports, EDW, analytics, etc.)
