Job Description
We are seeking a Solids Landfill Engineer to support the growth of our Solids Management, Disposal & Industrial Services team. This role will focus on landfill compliance, permitting, operations support, cell construction, lift planning, groundwater monitoring, and closure activities for E&P and industrial waste landfill facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage landfill permitting, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee fill plans, lift plans, grading plans, and landfill operations.
• Support construction of new landfill cells and closure/capping projects.
• Coordinate groundwater monitoring and environmental compliance programs.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure operations comply with approved plans and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with waste acceptance decisions and WAC management.
• Conduct regular site visits to support landfill operations and engineering activities.
• In charge of SWMP reports

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
• 3-5+ years of landfill engineering, compliance, or operations experience (entry-level engineers with strong education considered).
• Knowledge of landfill regulations, permitting, and environmental compliance.
• Experience with landfill design, construction, grading, fill plans, or closure activities preferred.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• PE License.
• Experience with permit applications and agency submittals.
• Background in E&P waste, industrial waste, or RCRA-exempt landfill operations.
