Job Description

What You'll Do
· Design protection and control panels for electrical substations.
· Create electrical drawings, schematics, and logic diagrams.
· Develop protection schemes based on customer requirements.
· Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
· Work with customers, troubleshoot issues, and provide commissioning support.
· Lead technical aspects of projects and mentor team members.
Support project scope development and proposals when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
· 5+ years of experience in power systems protection and control engineering.
· Experience designing high-voltage (HV) protection and control systems.
· Ability to read and create AC/DC schematics, one-line diagrams, and logic diagrams.
· Experience with protection relays (Siemens, SEL, GE, ABB, etc.).
· Knowledge of substation communication protocols:
o IEC 61850
o DNP3
o Modbus
o PROFINET / PROFIBUS
· Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, or system startup activities.
AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or Engineering Base (AUCOTEC) experience.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Utility protection and automation panel design experience.
· Knowledge of UL 508A and IEC standards.
· Experience with MV/HV protection schemes, generator protection, or line protection.
· Professional Engineer (PE) license.
· Engineering Base (EB), EPLAN, or MicroStation experience.
· C programming experience.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
