Job Description
We are seeking a driven Industrial Area Sales Manager to develop new business, grow existing accounts, and build long-term customer relationships throughout an assigned territory. This individual will work directly with manufacturing facilities, industrial contractors, plant leaders, maintenance teams, and project stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that support operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Key responsibilities include prospecting for new business, managing active opportunities, conducting customer site visits, developing project estimates and proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing successful project execution from award through completion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in industrial environments, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving both revenue growth and customer retention.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of outside sales, territory management, business development, or industrial sales experience.
• Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, chemical, refinery, logistics, or related markets.
• Strong ability to develop relationships with plant managers, maintenance leaders, operations teams, procurement groups, project managers, contractors, and executive stakeholders.
• Proven track record of generating new business, growing existing accounts, and exceeding sales goals.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposal generation, contract negotiation, and account management.
• Ability to conduct site visits, assess project requirements, and communicate technical solutions to customers.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage pipelines, forecasts, and customer activity.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a territory with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of sales and industry experience.
Preferred Experience
• Industrial services, scaffolding, access solutions, maintenance services, turnaround projects, fabrication, specialty contracting, equipment rental, safety products, or related industrial solutions.
• Experience calling on industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, EPC firms, contractors, or large commercial project teams.
• Familiarity with project estimating, bid management, labor-based services, and contract-driven sales environments.
