Job Description
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Service Fulfillment, the Service Fulfillment Network Engineer is responsible for the design, provisioning, implementation, and support of advanced network solutions for carrier and enterprise customers. This includes Internet and Ethernet transport services, as well as managed LAN/WAN, WiFi, LTE failover, and SD-WAN deployments for new installations, moves, additions, changes (MACs), and disconnects.
Project Load - 150 active projects at any given time, are they comfortable that?
The role provides technical leadership throughout the service lifecycle, including customer turn-up support, advanced service activation testing, and performance validation. It requires expertise in configuring and supporting network platforms such as Ciena, Cisco IOS/IOS-XR, and Fortinet solutions, including SD-WAN and firewall technologies (NAT, VPNs).
Additionally, the Network Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting complex multi-layer network issues, certifying and introducing new devices and configurations into the network, coordinating with third-party vendors during escalations, and contributing to process improvements and standardization. The position also supports team development through mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior engineers, operating with limited supervision.

Required Skills & Experience
· Experience in building Service Provider technologies; L3VPN, EVPN, L2VPN, MPLS, .
· Experience with Cisco IOS-XR or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable timeframe.
· Experience with Ciena switches or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable timeframe.
· Ability to input data accurately across multiple systems.
· Skilled at managing assigned tasks with little supervision.
· Experience Configuring SD-WAN links (Fortinet experience preferred)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· High school or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
· CCNA or CCNP or equivalent work experience. - would be nice
· 3 or more years of hands-on experience in a related field.
· Fortinet NSE 4 certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
