Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform modernization initiative within a major banking environment. This individual will oversee the migration from a legacy on-premises AML solution to SAS AML Viya in the cloud, ensuring successful execution across project planning, stakeholder management, implementation, and organizational change management efforts.
The ideal candidate brings deep project management experience within financial services, a strong background supporting AML or Financial Crimes initiatives, and a proven track record leading enterprise software implementations and cloud transformation programs.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of a large AML platform modernization project
Oversee migration from a legacy on-prem AML platform to SAS AML Viya
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
Coordinate efforts across technology, compliance, AML operations, vendors, and business stakeholders
Facilitate communication with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Drive organizational change management and user adoption activities
Ensure project objectives remain aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements
Operate effectively within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
Identify and mitigate project risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints
Maintain strong governance and project reporting throughout the implementation lifecycle

10+ years of Project Management experience
Experience leading AML, Financial Crimes, Compliance, or Regulatory Technology initiatives
Prior experience supporting AML platform implementations, upgrades, or migrations - SAS AML Viya preferred
Experience managing large-scale enterprise software implementations
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple workstreams
Change management experience within enterprise transformation initiatives
Experience working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Financial Services or Banking industry experience

SAS AML experience
SAS AML Viya experience
Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives
Financial Crimes Transformation experience
Consulting background supporting banking clients
Experience managing third-party implementation partners and vendors
