Job Description
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to help drive the social strategy, content execution, and community engagement for a large gaming company. This person will be an operator and creator—someone who can jump from content ideation to copywriting to analytics, while staying deeply connected to gaming culture and emerging social trends. You'll partner closely with the leadership team to plan, schedule, publish, and optimize content across major channels including TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube, while helping bring game launches, events, and cultural moments to life for a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
-Develop engaging social content, write platform-specific copy, and execute publishing calendars.
-Create culturally relevant content that resonates with gaming audiences and drives engagement.
-Support social campaigns, game launches, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives.
-Monitor social trends, gaming culture, creators, and player sentiment to identify new content opportunities.
-Analyze channel performance, track KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations using analytics and AI-powered social listening tools.
-Collaborate with marketing, community, creative, and international teams to ensure consistent and impactful social execution.
-Act as a hands-on operator who can move quickly from ideation to execution while supporting day-to-day social operations.

Required Skills & Experience
-3–6 years of experience managing social media for a gaming publisher, game developer, esports organization, or gaming-focused brand.
-Hands-on experience developing social strategies and content for titles, franchises, or gaming brands across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
-Deep understanding of internet culture, memes, social trends, and audience behavior.
-Proven experience managing social channels at scale, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and X.
-Strong expertise with social analytics and reporting tools.
-Experience scheduling, publishing, and optimizing content across multiple platforms.
-Exceptional copywriting and content ideation skills.
-Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
-Must provide a portfolio, social channels, or work samples demonstrating experience creating and managing social content.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Familiarity with AI-powered social listening, content analysis, and trend-monitoring tools.
-Experience working with global or international marketing teams.
-Understanding of social go-to-market planning and product launches.
