Job Description
Insight Global is supporting a construction technology client in recruiting an agentic Full Stack Developer who uses AI agents as force multipliers and not just autocomplete. In this role, the candidate can expect to:
• Field and resolve technical support issues
• Ship full-stack features quickly by leveraging AI effectively
• Build agent-friendly code with clear boundaries and strong abstractions
• Mentor the team on human–AI collaboration patterns
Contribute to internal AI tooling and workflows
The technical environment is as follows:
• Frontend - Angular 21+, TypeScript, NgRx, Real-time streaming (WebRTC/HLS)
• Backend - Java 21+/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS
Other details to note:
• Location: Remote, NC/SC preferred, with quarterly travel to Winston-Salem, NC
• Duration: Permanent Hire
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-6pm EST
• Salary: $140-150k

Required Skills & Experience
• 2-3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• Proficiency in Java 21+ (backend), Angular 21+ (frontend), and AWS
• Agentic experience including hands-on coding with agents such Claude Code (preferred), OpenCode, Cursor, CoPilot, Cline
• Judgement on when to trust agent output versus intervene
• Ability to decompose complex work into agent-friendly tasks
• Experience prompting LLMs for Code generation, debugging, refactoring
• Strong preference for someone who has worked in a small-team, start-up environment without a lot of oversight
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI)
• RAG implementations
• Full stack imaging development (image processing and parsing, streaming & APIs, and interactive visualization
