Job Description
Day-to-Day
Day to day, this person will be reviewing inventory and replenishment data in SAP and Excel to make sure the right materials are available at the right locations. They will look at daily-moving items, monitor min/max levels, identify where stock is running low, and help determine when additional inventory needs to be ordered. A big part of the role is digging into discrepancies — for example, when SAP shows inventory is available but the warehouse or 3PL does not actually have it — and figuring out the root cause. They will also support vendor-managed inventory, newly cut purchase orders, backorders, and communication with vendors, warehouses, 3PL partners, demand planning, and internal business planning teams. The manager needs someone who can analyze the data, ask good questions, and help stabilize replenishment processes without needing a ton of hand-holding.

Required Skills & Experience
• Own replenishment activity for warehouse inventory and vendor-managed inventory items.
• Monitor min/max inventory levels, currently targeting approximately 3–6 weeks of inventory.
• Review items that move daily and identify where additional inventory is needed.
• Investigate stockouts, backorders, and inventory discrepancies across SAP, warehouse records, 3PL partners, and vendor activity.
• Analyze 1,000+ items and identify demand, replenishment, and materials management issues.
• Support newly cut purchase orders and monitor whether vendors can ship against them.
• Coordinate with demand planning and internal business planning stakeholders.
• Help the two existing analysts improve processes and daily monitoring.
• Contribute to master data governance and future approval workflows for the team.
• Supply chain analyst or materials management experience.
• Strong data analysis skills, especially in Excel.
• SAP knowledge; must be able to validate what SAP shows against warehouse reality.
• MRP and replenishment experience.
• Comfortable making decisions when demand is inconsistent or unclear.
• Ability to investigate root causes, not just report issues.
• Critical thinking, curiosity, and willingness to dig into inventory details.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, change, and pre-/post-merger uncertainty.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in telecom, ISP, or a similar inventory-heavy environment is a plus.
• Prior work in vendor-managed inventory, replenishment, materials management, or warehouse/3PL alignment.
• Planning tool experience; O9 experience would be helpful as implementation is underway.
• Analyst II-level practical experience preferred over purely junior experience.
• Someone who has worked in this type of space before would be ideal.
