Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Risk Officer for a leading financial services client. The role will focus heavily on treasury management-related risk exposure, ensuring proper controls are in place across cash management and payments operations. This candidate will play a critical role in strengthening risk frameworks, advising stakeholders, improving control environments, and driving innovation through automation and AI-enabled risk monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in 2LOD Operational Risk OR 1LOD Business Controls within banking/financial services
• Treasury Management experience (REQUIRED – cash management, liquidity products, payments, commercial treasury services)
• Strong knowledge of US banking regulations (Federal Reserve, OCC guidance, operational risk frameworks)
• Hands-on experience with:
o RCSAs (Risk & Control Self-Assessments)
o Issue/incident management and remediation
• Experience assessing risk & control environments and identifying gaps
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, and governance reporting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting or overseeing Treasury products (payments, wires, liquidity, commercial banking services)
• Exposure to AI / automation in risk monitoring or analytics
• Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• Background in scenario analysis / stress testing
• Prior experience presenting to executive or board-level stakeholders
• Experience leading risk transformation initiatives
• Certifications (CRC, FRM, CAMS, etc.)
