Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Payroll Architect who will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and optimization of our client’s payroll technology ecosystem. This role serves as the technical authority for payroll architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant payroll solutions that support a large, geographically distributed workforce. This person will work closely with HR, Payroll Operations, Finance, Benefits, Tax, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Technology teams to modernize payroll capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and enable business growth through automation and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-8 years of payroll systems experience
• Experience leading large-scale payroll processing, taxation, compliance, and reporting requirements
• 5 years of Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) experience
• Experience with BIP (BI Publisher)
• Strong knowledge with OIC (Oracle Integrated Cloud)
• 5+ years in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Workday Payroll, UKG, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Telecommunications or large enterprise experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience supporting workforces exceeding 10,000 employees.
