Job Description

One of our customers is seeking an IT Business Lead to sit onsite in Knightdale North Carolina to serve as the primary IT leader supporting a growing manufacturing operation. This individual will serve as the primary face of IT for the business and act as the bridge between manufacturing leadership, business stakeholders, and Siemens' global IT organization. While maintaining a strong technical understanding of infrastructure and operations, the focus of the role is helping the business navigate a complex IT environment consisting of hundreds of global services, determining priorities, driving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring local teams receive value from enterprise IT offerings.
This person will work closely with the CFO, plant leadership, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders to understand business objectives, manage IT demand, prioritize initiatives, and coordinate execution across global service owners. They will support manufacturing operations, endpoint services, network infrastructure, production technology, cybersecurity initiatives, budgeting discussions, IT roadmaps, and site growth efforts.
Success in this role requires someone who can troubleshoot operational issues on the floor, facilitate stakeholder meetings, discuss budgets and priorities with executives, and effectively influence teams they do not directly manage. The ideal candidate is a "jack-of-all-trades" IT leader who combines strong technical knowledge with business partnership, communication, and organizational skills.
