Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a large-scale platform transformation initiative for a leading financial services client. This role will focus on migrating issuer data from legacy systems into a modern, domain-based data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing complex data structures, building detailed data mappings, identifying data quality issues, and ensuring a smooth transition for downstream systems. This individual will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to define transformation rules, support validation efforts, and ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex data environments.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or Data Migration Analyst
Strong experience with large-scale data migration, integration, or platform modernization
Proven expertise in source-to-target data mapping
Hands-on experience with data profiling, data quality analysis, and reconciliation
Advanced SQL skills (querying, comparing, validating large datasets)
Experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, or data lakes
Ability to understand complex data models, transformation rules, and business logic
Strong documentation experience (mapping specs, data dictionaries, issue logs)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA, business stakeholders)
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issue resolution
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Background in financial services, credit ratings, risk, or securities
Familiarity with domain-driven data models or enterprise data ecosystems
Experience migrating downstream data consumers to modern platforms
Experience with application impact assessments during data migrations
Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata, and stewardship
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile teams
