Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a sharp Technology Manager for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining an established Financial Technology team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. This role will be a combination of technology leadership and project focus. It is essential that this individual has a strong technical background (hands-on development experience) and has moved into a leadership roles in recent experience. This could be an individual who has been a Technical Lead who's ready to take the next step or is already in the role. In these roles, this individual will be responsible for leading and managing a team of application developers, think holistically about technical delivery, and be an excellent documenter. While this role will not explicitly be hands-on development, it will require very close guidance and leadership through development and potentially being hands-on where needed, so previous hands-on experience is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in a large enterprise banking environment. Candidates must have very strong communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong technical background w/ hands-on development experience, specifically from an ETL background
Familiarity w/ ETL tools (DataStage preferred, but open to other similar ETL/ELT tools)
Experience working on UI applications
Strong technical documentation skills
Comfortable working with tech execs to influence meeting target dates and mitigate risks
Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Financial or Banking industry experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous Lead/Technology Manager experience
