Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an EDI Technical Specialist for a top healthcare diagnostics client. This contractor will play a key role in supporting critical EDI and HL7 integrations tied to a high-visibility genomics initiative. The ideal candidate has strong HL7 interface experience (non-billing), enjoys working closely with technical and clinical teams, and is excited to contribute to complex healthcare data integrations that directly impact patient outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience or working knowledge of HL7 v2.2, v2.3, or v2.5.1
• Experience with EDI interfaces (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills and professional work ethic

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Med Tech background or experience working in a medical laboratory environment
• Familiarity with interface monitoring tools
• Experience with data validation tools and processes
Prior exposure to regulated healthcare environments
