Job Description:
This role focuses on selling service agreements for building automation systems in large facilities like hospitals, universities, and industrial sites. The sales team works closely with operations to ensure these systems are properly maintained and running efficiently. You’ll build relationships with customers and help them improve their building performance, safety, and reliability using Siemens technology and services.
Job Duties:
• Hit sales targets by selling service agreements, projects, and digital/energy solutions
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast sales
• Understand the market, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
• Create account plans focused on growing business in key industries and markets
• Find new customers and expand into new markets with clear go-to-market strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and recommending solutions
• Network and build relationships through industry events and organizations
• Help customers plan budgets and make smart investment decisions
• Position Siemens as a top provider of smart building and digital services
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, legal, estimators) to close deals
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and bid packages for customers
• Partner with other sales teams to grow accounts and win new work
• Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and services
• Spend about 50% of time meeting with customers onsite
• Spend 1–2 days a week in the office collaborating with the team
• Travel occasionally (~10%) for training and business development

Required Skills & Experience
· High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
· 3+ years of sales experience in building automation or energy services
· Must be able to demonstrate financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independently
· On-the-job exposure to account development and strategic sales skills
· Verbal and written communication skills in English
· Must be able to demonstrate organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
• Salesforce CRM
• Software, IoT, and networking experience
• Experience in developing energy service opportunities taking advantage of local utility incentives and federal incentives
• Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, and commercial office vertical markets
