Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire an Operational Excellence Manager to lead continuous improvement efforts at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site for one of its clients. This individual will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams. They will establish and monitor site KPIs, lead tiered performance management, ensure GMP and regulatory alignment, and manage cross-functional improvement projects from initiation through sustainment. This role will also focus on building a continuous improvement culture through coaching, training, Gemba walks, and Kaizen events, while managing a small team of direct reports.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or related field
7+ years in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing
3+ years leading Lean / Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA/EMA regulations, and regulated environments
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MBA or advanced technical degree
Experience supporting FDA inspections, CAPAs, or remediation efforts
TPM and asset reliability optimization experience
Advanced data analytics or statistical analysis skills
Experience leading enterprise-level OpEx programs
