Job Description

McKim & Creed is seeking an Electrical Engineer (PE) to serve as a Regional Growth Manager, responsible for expanding BEI’s market presence across Tennessee, Virginia, or Georgia. This role blends technical MEP/FP expertise, client development, and strategic growth leadership within healthcare and higher‑education environments. As an ESOP company, employees directly share in the value they help create.

DAY‑TO‑DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead initiatives to generate new clients, partners, and repeat business for BEI in the region.
- Collaborate with BEI leadership to build and execute strategic business development plans tied to revenue targets.
- Develop a strong pipeline through prospecting, outreach, marketing, and teaming efforts for proposals.
- Increase BEI visibility at industry events, both in‑person and online.
- Provide client and partner feedback to help shape BEI’s service delivery roadmap.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, lead updates, and sales tracking to meet growth objectives.
- Support MEP/FP design services for mechanical, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems in healthcare and higher‑ed facilities.

Required Skills & Experience

MUST SIT IN RICHMOND OR NASHVILLE OR ATLANTA

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering + active PE license
- 8+ years of client‑facing experience in the construction/AEC industry (healthcare + higher‑ed preferred)
- Existing client relationships and proven success building new business
- Strong understanding of consulting engineering, including BD strategy and market expansion
- Ability to travel up to 20% for client visits, partner meetings, and industry events
