Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist for a top financial services client to support the growth of new technology initiatives and enterprise data capabilities. This role will focus on enabling scalable data access through data virtualization, supporting ETL processes, and working closely with DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-performing data solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong development mindset, experience with modern data platforms, and is comfortable working in a distributed, offshore/onshore environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term impact and exposure to enterprise-scale data initiatives.

Experience using Starburst
Experience using Dremio
Data Observatory experience
Experience supporting DevOps-related projects
Strong data engineering / development background

Experience in financial services or insurance
Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms
Experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models
Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures
Experience supporting modern analytics or reporting platforms
