Job Description
Our client is looking for a CAD Specialist to join their team! This role will be hybrid and full training will be provided. The ideal candidate has permitting and AutoCAD experience.
The primary responsibility of the CAD specialist is to design electrical drawings using AutoCAD. These designs will be reviewed and approved for permitting purposes, this includes compiling permit packet, filling out permit application, determining necessary permits for different municipalities and specialized areas, communicating with involved parties to minimize turnaround time.

Required Skills & Experience
1-2 years of experience with permitting work in road right-of-way, reading and developing permit drawings
Familiar with drawing software tools such as AutoCAD
Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and provide leadership to other team members.

Prior experience supporting Duke Energy
