Job Description

Participate in both upfront EPC document intake and backend quality review processes, ensuring engineering and construction documentation is accurate, compliant, and ready for operational turnover.
- Support document control activities across multiple phases of the project lifecycle, including upfront engineering and EPC coordination as well as backend quality and compliance review prior to turnover to Operations.
- In the upfront phase, receive, track, and maintain engineering and construction documentation from EPC firms, ensuring documents are properly logged, version‑controlled, and distributed to internal engineering and project teams.
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and EPC partners to manage document workflows, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely availability of critical project documentation.
- In the backend phase, perform detailed quality checks on project documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Duke Energy standards prior to submission to Operations and asset teams.
- Ensure all documentation meets record retention, configuration management, and audit requirements before final turnover.
Maintain document tracking logs, metadata, and repositories to ensure traceability and long‑term accessibility of project records.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in document control, records management, or document management
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in SharePoint
Experience in utilities or construction

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Knowledge of utility or energy industry regulatory and documentation standards
Experience in Procore software
