Job Description

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for supporting project teams with financial, cost, and administrative controls throughout the project lifecycle. This role focuses on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, cost tracking, and coordination with Accounting and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of project cost controls, and experience working within structured project and asset management systems.
Experience in renewable energy projects and IBM Maximo is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

· Create, review, and process purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company and project controls procedures
· Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Accounting to ensure accurate invoice processing, cost allocation, and timely payment
· Would be a nice to have: Track project costs, commitments, and actuals; support cost control and budget monitoring activities
· Maintain accurate project financial data, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting
Support risk management activities, including identifying cost and schedule risks and tracking mitigation actions
