Job Description
Own and support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 identity services in a production environment
Design, implement, and maintain identity, authentication, and access control solutions
Troubleshoot complex, high‑severity identity and access issues with a strong sense of urgency
Act as an escalation point for incidents involving authentication outages, access failures, or security concerns
Support hybrid identity environments (on‑prem Active Directory integrated with Azure AD)
Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and reliable access
Participate in on‑call rotation and respond during major incidents or outages when “things are going down”
Proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in identity architecture
Ensure systems align with compliance and security best practices (especially in regulated environments like healthcare)

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or identity management
• Deep hands‑on experience with:
○ Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
○ Microsoft 365 identity and access services
○ Active Directory (on‑prem and hybrid environments)
• Proven ability to work independently at a senior level without step‑by‑step direction
• Strong incident response mindset — able to assess severity, urgency, and impact quickly
• Comfortable operating under pressure in outage or breach‑risk scenarios
• Experience serving as an escalation resource for critical production issues
Strong communication skills during incidents (clear, calm, direct)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting healthcare environments (HIPAA, regulated systems, 24/7 operations)
• Familiarity with identity security concepts (conditional access, MFA strategies, privileged access)
• Experience working in environments with strict uptime and compliance requirements
