Job Description
• Architect and build the core marketplace platform (listings, buyers, offers, workflows)
• Lead backend and API design, including data modeling and system architecture
• Build offer management and matching logic for investors and buyers
• Integrate LMX with Salesforce (data sync, APIs, workflows)
• Own cloud infrastructure, deployments, and scalability (AWS preferred)
• Establish engineering best practices, code quality, and technical direction
• Collaborate closely with product and leadership to shape the roadmap
• Mentor and eventually lead a small engineering team as the product grows

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of backend or full stack engineering experience (heavy on the backend)
• Proven experience building marketplaces, platforms, or transactional systems
• Strong API design and database architecture skills (Postgres preferred)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure
• Salesforce integration experience
• Ability to own architecture and technical decisions from day one
• Experience working in a fast moving, 0→1 environment with experience in a startup or founding engineer type role
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in proptech, fintech, or real estate workflows
• Experience building offer/quote systems or multi party workflows
• Familiarity with investor/buyer marketplaces
• Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams
