Job Overview
- Insight Global’s client, located in Pineville, NC, is seeking a Senior Plumbing Estimator to support estimating efforts across commercial and industrial projects.
- This person will complete takeoffs, compile estimates using FastEST software, and communicate directly with general contractors and vendors during active bids.
- The role is fully on site and includes local travel several times per week to pre‑bid meetings and contractor locations.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience producing quick‑turn budget estimates within approximately a ten percent accuracy margin.
Experience using bid communication platforms such as BuildingConnected or PlanHub.
Experience analyzing market conditions including material pricing and supply impacts on bids.
Plumbing or mechanical license or certification
Experience supporting both public and private bid processes.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Candidates must have at least five years of commercial plumbing estimating experience. (must be commercial!)
Candidates must have hands‑on experience using FastEST, FastPIPE, FastDUCT, or a comparable estimating software platform and the ability to learn FastEST quickly.
Candidates must have the ability to interpret commercial drawings and specifications and translate them into accurate material, labor, and equipment quantities.
Candidates must have strong communication skills with experience coordinating during bids with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
Candidates must have experience completing full takeoffs from drawings and compiling estimates for commercial and industrial projects.
Candidates must be able to work fully on site in Pineville, NC and travel locally to general contractors as needed.
