Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of security controls that protect the organization’s endpoints including laptops, servers, and other managed devices. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundational understanding of endpoint security tools and operating systems, and is ready to grow in a hands‑on engineering environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Solid foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Hands‑on experience deploying or supporting endpoint security tools (EPP/EDR), preferably Tanium or CrowdStrike
Working knowledge of core Tanium modules such as Deploy, Patch, Discover, Enforce, and Threat Response
Experience with vulnerability remediation, patch management, and securing endpoints against common threats
Ability to troubleshoot compromised endpoints, perform initial incident triage, and assist with root‑cause analysis
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and tool support
Exposure to SIEM or PAM tools such as Splunk or CyberArk
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logs, correlate endpoint telemetry, and identify suspicious patterns
Ability to follow security best practices, enforce policy standards (MFA, password hygiene, device usage), and support compliance efforts
