Insight Global is on the lookout for enthusiastic Construction Preconstruction Manager to join a large commercial construction company and support construction projects in the healthcare, K-12, and higher education sectors. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring cost estimates are proper within the concept, schematic, and design stages. Analyzing subcontractor bids and compare pricings that align with project goals. This position demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for growth within our team.
Day to Day:
The Preconstruction manager role is in-office and involves supporting commercial construction projects, including new builds and renovations in sectors such as medical, higher education, and K-12. They will coordinate with internal teams such as project managers, estimators, and engineers. Create and send out bid packages, discuss with subcontractors, and conduct scope reviews to ensure bid matches with project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
• They need 5+ years’ experience within construction estimating.
• Experience reviewing and drawing plans, dealing with budgets, and bidding experience.
• Medical, Higher Ed and K-12 experience recently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) knowledge/experience and Design Build experience preferred
• Experience with PlanGrid
