Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a remote ETL Consultant to support one of our hardwood manufacturing clients. This ETL Consultant will support data migration initiatives, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across multiple systems that is supporting a large ERP Implementation project. This role involves building SSIS packages, writing SQL transformations, troubleshooting data quality issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• SSIS Development
• Design, build, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL.
• Develop domain-specific projects (Customers, Vendors, Parts, BOM, Inventory).
• SQL & Data Transformation
• Write and maintain stored procedures for Raw → Staging and Staging → Target.
• Define transformation rules with SMEs and legacy system experts.
• Data Quality & Iterations
• Troubleshoot load failures and data issues.
• Support iterative loads (DM0, DM1), validate counts, and resolve errors.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL development and data migration
• Experience in SQL - including writing and optimizing queries
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio and SSIS for orchestrating data transformations
• Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server environments
• Familiarity with Oracle and other backend databases
• Proven data migration experience, including iterative load processes
