Job Description
This nurse serves as a key resource for patients and families, providing education and guidance on the apheresis process. Responsibilities include performing apheresis procedures independently in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards (FDA, FACT), administering pre-transplant conditioning and pre-CAR T lymphodepleting chemotherapy, and completing hematopoietic cell transplants and cellular product infusions. This nurse also manages and maintains venous access throughout treatment and monitors patients daily following transplant and CAR T therapy to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
RN License in NC
BSN
Minimum 1 year of apheresis experience (HPC and MNC collection preferred) or at least 2 years of ICU or hematology/oncology experience
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Chemotherapy - Immunotherapy Certificate (ONS-ONCC) or equivalent (Okay if they don't have this but will be required within 6 months of hire!)
Experience with dialysis
