Insight Global is looking for a Tanzu resource for a short term contract (6-8 week project) to join one of our logistic clients to help with their data center migration efforts. Responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of VMware infrastructure and Tanzu Kubernetes clusters, ensuring robust disaster recovery (DR) capabilities. Leads DR automation, backup/restore operations, failover testing, and documentation across virtualized and containerized environments. This role can sit 100% remote or is open to onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Required Skills & Experience
Infrastructure Expertise:
- 5+ years in VMware vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN administration.
- 2+ years with Zerto Virtual Replication or similar DR tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and SSL certificate management.
Kubernetes & Backup:
- 3+ years in Kubernetes administration (preferably Tanzu).
- 2+ years with Velero or similar Kubernetes backup tools.
- Experience with vSphere CSI integration and storage management.
- Familiarity with S3/MinIO storage solutions and data replication.
Automation & Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and validation skills for application recovery.
- Excellent documentation, compliance support, and cross-team collaboration skills.
