Job Description

We are seeking 2 Technology Risk officers to support risk management efforts across key technology areas. You are required to be onsite 3 days weekly & work from home 2 days in any of the following markets: Charlotte, NC or Kennesaw, GA or Plano, TX. These individuals will partner with Technology Executives and their teams to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and operational risks, with a strong focus on issue management and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with risk acumen and market awareness to drive sustainable solutions and improve control environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead risk management activities for up to two Technology Executives, supporting a culture of proactive risk identification and escalation.
• Execute risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate with technology teams, control partners (GIS, Audit, Compliance), and divisional leads to address and remediate risks.
• Apply technical domain expertise (e.g., data management, information security, infrastructure) to drive policy adherence.
• Oversee end-to-end issue management, including action plan development and validation for audit/compliance-identified issues.
• Support daily trade reporting to the DCC and ensure alignment with client data using pairing and matching reports.
• Communicate findings and provide training to teams, especially those with retail-centric backgrounds.
• Periodically step into a Risk Lead role to support broader portfolio oversight.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technology, risk, or financial services.
• Expertise in at least two of the following:
o technology, risk management, global capital markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform impact assessments and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting) and PowerPoint (presentations).
• Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel for reporting, PowerPoint for presentations)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a PMO role
