Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementation Manager to oversee vendor execution of large-scale hydroelectric field projects. This role operates under the direction of the onsite Construction Manager and Project Manager, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery of complex turbine and generator overhauls.
• Supervise and coordinate vendor activities across multiple hydroelectric projects, including turbine runner overhauls and generator rewinds.
• Ensure quality standards and alignment efforts are met across all phases of field execution.
• Act as the primary liaison between field service vendors and internal supervisor-level project managers.
• Support long-term projects with hands-on oversight and technical guidance.
• Monitor and report on field machining, shaft alignment, turbine replacement, and restack operations (stator, rotor).
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field teams including millwrights, superintendents, foremen, and field service reps.
• Participate in alignment and quality assurance efforts across multiple sites.
• Must be okay working overtime (50-60 hours a week)

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in hydroelectric, nuclear, fossil, or coal power generation environments.
• Strong background in large equipment installation and overhaul (e.g., gas turbines, hydro turbines).
• Familiarity with unit alignment, field machining, and turbine/generator component replacement.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across diverse teams.
• Hands-on field experience or oversight of technical field operations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with legacy technologies and long-duration field projects.
• Familiarity with Centerline projects and alignment protocols.
