A large software and gaming company is looking for a creative and detail oriented Social Media Video Editor to join a growing team. This role will focus on producing engaging, high quality short-form video content tailored for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands current social media trends, and can deliver content that resonates with the audience.
In this role you will
Ideate, edit and deliver videos for social media platforms in collaboration with
stakeholders.
Maintain appropriate brand voice, tone, and style across all projects.
Export and QC final deliverable assets for quality control.
Source and integrate relevant sound effects and music from existing internal
resources.
Stay updated on social media trends, memes, new editing techniques, and viral
content strategies.
Collaborate with the internal VFX team to source footage based on existing
workflows while maintaining scope of requested assets.

2-5 years proven experience in Video Editing/Video Production at a major brand or gaming organization, with a focus in social media
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience doing basic audio mixes
Knowledge of technical video frame rates and video/audio encoding
Understanding of gaming culture
Strong communication skills and sense of urgency
Strong organizational skills both within editing software and in project management
Experience managing many edits at once in various stages of production
Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily to find resolutions.
Knowledgeable about social trends, with a proven ability to leverage trending
conversations with relevant, engaging content
Deep understanding of nuance between different social media platforms and the
content that performs best
Personabledevelops internal relationships to find optimal solutions to problems that may arise
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation (After Effects)
