Job Description

Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Servicing Specialist to join our banking operations team. This role centers on maintaining consumer loans and supporting operational workflows within the Loan Servicing department. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in banking, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Maintenance & Documentation
Maintain consumer loan records and systems in accordance with regulations and internal policies.
Process and review documentation related to loan servicing.
Handle light maintenance requests and reporting tasks.

Operational Support
Perform non-monetary operational tasks such as mail handling, account updates, and report management.
Respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, and associates, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

Compliance & Audit
Support audit preparation and compliance tracking for retail banking operations.
Ensure servicing activities align with regulatory standards and internal controls.

Specialized Functions
Assist with CRG-related functions including bankruptcy, repossession, loss mitigation, and foreclosure.
Collaborate with collections and loss mitigation teams as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banking environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Quick learner and self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently.
Excellent communication and punctuality; proactive in addressing issues.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in loan servicing, particularly with consumer and/or commercial loans.
Familiarity with CRM systems and lending platforms.
Background in collections, CRG processes, or loss mitigation.
