Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Design Associate to work for one of our Engineering Consulting firms. This role involves providing essential support to several key departments; including DTUG, Major Projects, and Highway Relocation. The right candidate will not only bring valuable skills and experience but will also have the chance to grow and develop within a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Back-office support:
-- invoice and permit payments
-- contract worker credentialing
-- support during storms
-- general administrative items for the organization
-- date management activities
-- joint use QC reviews on lower complexity work
- supporting all key departments for the end client

Required Skills & Experience

- Associates or Technical Degree in any engineering field
- 0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
- Interest in the distribution industry
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Self-driven for time management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Work Management Systems (WMS) SAP B1 and/or SAGE Experience
- Administrative experience
