Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer for the cybersecurity organization of one of our large financial clients. This person will be part of a team responsible for performing maintenance on our clients infrastructure, supporting applications, providing cybersecurity remediations as needed, along with other devops engineering responsibilities. This team is supporting a large infrastructure environment and considers this role a mix of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering. We need individuals who are team players and initiative-takers who are unafraid to run with tasks or ask questions if need be in order to further projects and tasks. This role must be performed on-site 5 days per week.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of work in a DevOps role
o Experience supporting infrastructure in a large enterprise environment with a focus on reliability, performance, automation, observability
Experience with one or several CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Subversion, Git, etc)
Strong OS experience in both Windows and Linux - Linux more important
Experience with Apache SOLR or at minimum strong noSQL database tools (MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis, etc)
Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, similar tools like Datadog and/or AppDynamics
Scripting & automation experience in either Python, Powershell, BASH, Perl or other in a DevOps environment
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts centered around remediation, ciphers, certifications, TLS settings, etc
Resourceful, intellectually curious mindset
Team player and willingness to jump in on projects and tackle things with minimal direction

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a System Administrator (Windows and/or Linux)
Container deployment experience/knowledge
Java language experience
