Team Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with hourly production employees, fostering strong, interactive teams and enhancing employee engagement. This includes mentoring through listening, coaching, performance reviews, training, and onboarding.
Production Management: Oversee daily production and scheduling for assigned departments, ensuring a consistent workflow.
Safety Assurance: Ensure safe working conditions by identifying and addressing safety concerns, conducting safety training and audits, and investigating accidents.
Quality Control: Achieve quality goals by regularly reviewing standards and processes, and recommending improvements.
Operational Support: Assist plant leadership with recommendations for improving production methods, equipment, procedures, quality standards, efficiencies, and safety conditions.
Maintenance Coordination: Partner with the Maintenance department to ensure high functionality and minimal downtime in production areas.
Logistics Collaboration: Work with support operations like Materials, Scheduling, and Logistics to maintain a balanced schedule and consistent material flow.
Staff Management: Determine staffing needs, manage attendance policies, and ensure accurate timekeeping. Support management in hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and resolve employee issues.

Education: Bachelors degree preferred or significant manufacturing experience (minimum five years).
Experience: At least 2 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of achieving results and developing subordinates.
Skills: Excellent problem-analysis, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, make decisions, adapt, and meet deadlines.
Communication: Outstanding communication, collaboration, and conflict management skills.
Mobility: Ability to travel to other plants and locations as needed.
