Insight Global is seeking a Perishables Warehouse Manager for one of our retail clients. This is a 2nd shift position working 5 days a week, but is responsible for 7 day coverage should anything happen. This role sits in Indian Trail, NC (outside of Charlotte) and days start at 5pm and will be working approximately 9 hour shifts. In this role, you will manages supervisors who supervise employees in the Shipping, Receiving, Bldg. and Grounds, Salvage Dock, Reclaim and Inventory Control, and/or other department(s) as assigned (approximately 300 people). Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The ideal candidate has previous experience working within a Food warehouse environment with strong understanding of safety procedures, cold chain compliance knowledge, and ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Previous Distribution/ Logistics/Warehouse Experience
Cold Chain Compliance knowledge and understanding
o Temperature control, regulatory standards, planning/ documentation/ SOPs
Ability to understand, read, and make decisions based on Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
Microsoft Office (excel, outlook)
Previous Grocer or Food warehouse experience
