Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid to Senior Level Data Analyst to join one of our large financial clients in Charlotte, NC. This will be supporting a team within Global Financial Crimes supporting applications within Anti-Money Laundering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex SQL data analysis and write sophisticated queries to extract and manipulate data.
Utilize Python for backend data processing and automation tasks.
Conduct SQL data mining to uncover insights and trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Maintain and optimize data systems and databases.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
Proven experience in SQL data analysis and writing complex queries.
Proficiency in Python for backend development and data processing.
Experience with SQL data mining techniques.
Familiarity with Teradata is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Experience working within financial industry.
Experience working within AML.
