Insight Global is looking for a Engineering Technologist to join one of our large engineering clients. This technologist will aide and partner with the company's end client and handle all work orders in the Marion, NC area. This role will be responsible for own WO's, in charge of designing any lighting upgrades, modification, re-installation, and any construction plans with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems.
- Ability to run own projects from start to finish
- Design: Upgrade. modifying, reinstallation process
- Assist in scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work
- Assist in work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule.
- Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.
- Collect necessary documentation and supplementary data in order to design

Associates or Technical Degree in any engineering field
- 0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
- Strong customer service skills
- Interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards
- Gathering customer requirements, meeting with construction/project managers and driving timelines on projects
