Job Description

A large software and gaming company is looking for a remote (EST or CST) Associate Marketing Manager. This person will serve in a marketing support role on the Studios Marketing Team, executing marketing campaigns and go to market plans for studio related partnerships, including but not limited to anime, film, TV, comics, games and more. This person will assist in designing, executing marketing campaigns that engage the existing community and new players. The ideal candidate knows how to excite and engage players in an authentic way, using IP content and events to drive business goals.

In this role you will
Drive and execute go to market plans for various campaigns across first party portfolio
Collaborate with marketing + game + creative teams to bring campaigns to life that excite our players.
Identify and take ownership of tasks in order to ensure the success of the project or marketing campaign
Coordinate with internal and external partners including IP & First Party to present marketing plans and identify asks or feedback
Lead the charge with all internal and external IP Partner teams to maintain alignment on priority work, manage milestones or action feedback during project lifecycles.
Communicate information or updates quickly and succinctly to internal stakeholders and other departments
Be resourceful and guide solutions with minimal oversight, but also know when to escalate problems to leadership for support
Encourage and help maintain a positive, upbeat, and professional environment
Lead day-to-day engagement with external partners on the marketing elements of
each partnership, including learning, then evangelizing partners objectives, then
ensuring that all campaign elements reflect them, along with key brand and legal
guidelines

Details That You Will Assess Include:
Delivery Dates; tracking whether the assigned project is on track and identifying any
tasks that need completing or any blockers that would delay the project/campaign.
Communicating any feedback or changes on the project to internal teams or relevant
stakeholders and partners
Creating go to market plans to present to internal stakeholders or partners for
visibility and approval
Ensuring marketing campaigns are aligned with goals and internal policies
Creating/executing on briefs for assets, copy, or additional elements that are needed for a specific campaign

Required Skills & Experience

2-4 years of marketing experience executing on GTM's and working with external partners
Experience at a creative agency or marketing/advertising agency ideally having worked with entertainment clients (at the Jr Strategist or Strategist level).
Partnership management experience and experienced working with licensed IP
Experience executing global go to market campaigns
U.S. west coast based with the willingness to attend meetings with stakeholders in Japan
Affinity for anime, comics, and film
Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams and third-party partners
Excellent presentation skills to communicate plans to partners or internal teams
Organizational skills to balance priorities and workload on individual projects
Ability to seek out any and all information needed to complete projects successfully
Natural ability to work collaboratively across teams to lead cross-functional engagement as needed
Self-starter to ensure projects or tasks are completed from start to finish whilst seeking support from wider team members as needed
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment to meet deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Understanding of the
distinctions between navigating internal needs and external partner needs
