Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality and EHS Manager responsible for managing the implementation and operation of our quality and environmental health & safety systems. This role plays a critical part in establishing quality and safety requisites, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving EHS and Quality Management processes throughout the organization, with a strong focus on U.S. regulations and standards.
This role will be based at our new Power Transformer factory in Charlotte, North Carolina and will initially coincide with the factorys construction. During this phase, we will focus on developing our processes, refining our offerings, and collaborating closely with a high-performance team. This will involve all aspects of the commercial setup to ensure we are well-prepared to meet the needs of our customers effectively when factory operations start.

Required Skills & Experience

A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of extensive experience in managing quality and EHS systems, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to guide and motivate teams toward safety and quality excellence.
In-depth knowledge of safety and quality standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO), with a specific focus on U.S. local requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Demonstrated expertise in implementing and monitoring Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Management (QM) processes at a senior level.
Experience in conducting audits, assessments, and driving certification processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to proactively address safety and quality challenges.
Willingness to relocate if not local to the Charlotte, NC area.
